DESERT DIAMOND QHSE
Desert Diamond International is committed to upholding the highest standards of Quality, Health, Safety, and
Environment (QHSE) in all aspects of its operations in Oman, the GCC, and international markets.
Our mission is to ensure the safety of our workforce, protect the environment, deliver top-quality products and
services, and operate with integrity and responsibility at all times
Occupational Health & Safety
We fully comply with Oman’s Ministerial Decision 286/2008 regulating Occupational Safety and Health. All employees undergo mandatory safety training, PPE issuance, and HSE inductions based on PDO Specification SP-1257. We implement ISO 45001:2018, API RP 75, and OSHA standards across our operations, with specific compliance to Qatar’s QCS, UAE Trakhees EHS, and Saudi HSE frameworks. Heat stress management, hazard communication, and incident reporting procedures are embedded within our daily safety practices
Product & Service Quality
Desert Diamond adheres to ISO 9001:2015 and API Q1/Q2 quality frameworks. Our tools and services meet PDO, OQ, OXY, and DALEEL specifications and comply with GSO technical standards across the GCC. We ensure traceability, calibration, and third-party inspections, delivering reliable performance with each deployment.
Environmental Protection
Desert Diamond complies with Royal Decree 114/2001 and all Environment Authority (EA-Oman) regulations. We conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and maintain environmental clearances from MECA. Operations follow ISO 14001:2015 and IOGP environmental best practices, minimizing emissions, managing waste, and preventing pollution. Aligned with Oman Vision 2040, our sustainability actions also support GCC Green Initiatives and international climate agreements.
Risk Management & Emergency Preparedness
We use structured risk assessments such as HAZID, HAZOP, and Bowtie Analysis to proactively mitigate hazards. Our Emergency Response Plan follows CDAA guidelines in Oman and aligns with ADNOC, KPC, and SABIC emergency management frameworks. Regular drills and toolbox talks reinforce our readiness for fire, medical, chemical, or operational incidents.
Legal & Regulatory Compliance
Desert Diamond complies with local, regional, and international legal frameworks including MECA (Oman), GSO (GCC), and OSHA (International). All our operations meet the requirements of Oman’s Ministry of Energy and Minerals and uphold contractorstandards set by PDO and OQ.
Stakeholder Engagement
We maintain open communication with employees, clients, regulatory bodies, and the community. QHSE performance and updates are shared transparently with stakeholders through reports, meetings, and compliance documentation.
Continuous Improvement
We regularly evaluate our QHSE KPIs, audit results, and customer feedback to enhance performance. Desert Diamond supports innovation and leadership at every level to ensure we remain ahead in safety and quality excellence.
At Desert Diamond International, QHSE is not just a compliance requirement – it is a core value embedded in
everything we do. Our commitment to protecting people, the environment, and delivering quality reflects our
dedication to excellence in Oman, across the GCC, and globally.
We pledge to continually improve our systems, uphold the highest safety and environmental standards, and
ensure every project is completed with integrity, responsibility, and sustainability at its core.
This policy shall be reviewed annually and updated as needed to reflect changes in legislation, industry
standards, or operational practices. It shall be communicated to all employees, partners, contractors, and
stakeholders to promote a unified and transparent QHSE culture.
